welcome to our world

Founded in 2007 by Gotland-bred designer Elin Sigrén. Above all else, Sägen is an ode to freedom of expression and a will to empower people with maximalist jewelry. The brand name itself means a Saga in Swedish - so go out in the world and conquer it!

We want our pieces to encourage you to live boldly and celebrate life. When you wear a piece of Sägen Jewelry, you can throw on a t-shirt with it and feel absolutely invincible & fabulous.

Elin sigrén

Founder & CEO of SÄGEN

In 2007 I felt the urge to express my creativity alongside being a first time mom. My journey started with recycled porcelain jewelry that today has become our beloved Heritage collections. With time I started working with steel jewelry and expanded the brand with timeless and powerful statement pieces and created our Studio collections, a true Scandinavian maximalist jewelry.

Our design

Scandinavian Maximalism

We design both statement and classic timeless pieces, from Sweden with love. The brand is strongly committed to creating long lasting jewelry that break the molds defined by mainstream fashion. Our first collections were made using abandoned Scandinavian porcelain classics, found at flea markets and remade into jewelry. Therefor recycling and sustainability was part of our DNA from the very first piece made and we actively work toward reducing the footprint we leave behind. We aim to create pieces that becomes an extension of your identity. We encourage you to shine brightly, live boldly and celebrate life.

Materials to feel good about

Production

At Sägen, we believe in products that last. Our jewelry stem from sustainable and ethically sourced materials. We work with recycled porcelain & recycled glass bottles that are melted down to become our own kind of diamonds. The silver we use is 100% recycled and the gold-plating is 18k. Gold. Our stainless steel is at least 80 % recycled and the gold-plating is PVD plating with 24k gold that never fades. All materials have been nickeltested. This gives us a peace of mind that we’re not destroying nature, but rather preserving what’s already there. We partner with factories committed to exceptional craftsmanship and ethical methods.
